Pictish Crescent V Rod Pendant (Large)
Taken from Pictish Tribal stone carvings symbolising the cycle of life. The large crescent depicts the moon with two arrows forming a V shape. One is pointing to earth representing birth and the other to the sky and the afterlife. The Pictish spiral's are similar to Trisceles, signifying the past, present and future, the three elements of land, sea and sky and is said to protect against negative influences.
