Triscele Triquetra Drop Earrings

Found on the entrance of the ancient Newgrange monument in Ireland the Triscele, with its triple coils, signifies the past, present and future, the three elements of land, sea and sky and is said to protect against negative influences. Symbolising eternal love, linking the mind, body and spirit, the Triquetra also represents the Triple Goddess (maiden, mother and crone), and was later adopted as the Trinity Knot, blessing and invoking the Holy Trinity of Christianity.
